Contradiction

I am a lover of gardens
pleasant things in life
beautiful sights and people
what I got unimagined
deserts stretched limitless
sorrows, sufferings
scorching hearts
unquenchable thirst
This journey into wilderness
drought of feelings
barren minds meaningless struggle
my optimizing cannot change
the lives of wretched beings
poverty and ignorance
are not easy to efface
