Stupid

Stupid bugs, dogs and pigs
dirty and poor India.
the children of NRI's refer to
everything in India as stupid.
They are on vacations
to enjoy their parents' country.
There is hardly any outing.
Pollution heat and dust
they find everywhere.
'It was a mistake to come here'
they confess to each other.
There is no place here
better than the U.S.
I feel lost for words
to tell them who is stupid
Their parents were
born and brought up
in this very country.
they have some attachment to it.
but these ease loving kids
have no affinity to it.
There is an utter confusion
who is stupid and who wise.
For them the poor are stupid
and wealthy always right.
