Coming from villages
hoping for some help
from the urbanite rich siblings
get cold welcome from them.
Their presence is embarrassing.
Sons jobless, financial problems
weigh heavy on their heads.
Get false promises of help
small amount and promises
to get rid of them at the earliest.
With heavy hearts and empty hands
they return cursing themselves.
Why to expect anything from those
who have no worry of their own.
Better life and luxuries
have made them blind
to the sufferings of the deprived ones
There is no Krishna
to help poor Sudama.
