Sea of troubles

I am already
in sea of troubles
don't drown me further
my life dwindles in hopelessness
still I try to overcome
the challenges of destiny
posed in front of me
I have to fight
the odds of life
no matter what comes
I have to be hopeful
with a positive attitude
I may come out a victor
I need friends for moral strength
but within me I must have courage
to take hold of life
and do what is right.
